Providing the Kashechewan First Nation Council and its departments with an accurate accounting and reporting of its financial position in both the short and long term, consistent with established policies, to work with the Executive Director to improve the effectiveness of the Finance Department’s services by developing and maintaining effective controls and documentation. Finally, to work with the KFN Council and Executive Director to develop and establish a long-term financial strategy for the Administration.
Other duties: Accounting services including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, account reconciliation, management, capital assets, insurance, budgeting, audit compliance, consolidated financial reporting and analysis.
